Anita Sharp of Electric Blue goes the extra mile to provide healthy, vegan baked goods with a personal touch. Her food is prepared from scratch, with unprocessed, mostly organic ingredients. Menus are based on fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Many gluten-free, soy-free, sugar-free and raw vegan items are available.
Her goal is to bring you a lovingly-prepared, good-for-you meal of superior taste and quality that will keep you coming back for more.
Electric Blue strives to be sustainable and socially responsible. The ingredients come from local, small-owned businesses; we recycle, and choose reusable materials over disposable ones.Half of our packaging has already been replaced with biodegradable, corn-based PLA containers.
Anita Sharp is a Brooklyn-based chef and food writer whose work has been featured in Bon Appetit Magazine and Think Magazine. She is a menu consultant for restaurants that are looking to expand their vegan, gluten-free and low fat options.
She is available for private or group cooking classes, and also teaches at The Brooklyn Kitchen.
Please email her with questions, inquiries, or just to say "hi!"
Anita’s dedication and passion for food had remarkable influence on our costumers. Muffins, quiche, mac & cheese made people come back and buy more and more and more… Brunch specials were fantastic, including California Pizza with miso ginger tofu. Strawberry pie, homemade whipped cream, brownies… amazing job! Great talent. During this time she has increased our business, helped us to choose and refine our menu, and implemented various aspects of healthy cuisine.

I recently purchased one of Anita's Valentine’s Day boxes as a gift for my wife, Daphne. We were both so touched and impressed by, not only how delicious and subtle and seductive and erotic and exotic her work was, but by how much loving attention to detail she put into it.
The accompanying text that Anita provided described the inspirations behind the stunning sweets and the provenance of the ingredients, so that we could envision ourselves drinking sweet rum in Puerto Rico (Puerto Rican rum ball) or traveling to Singapore as we enjoyed cupcakes flavored with Indonesian hot chilies with wide smiles on our faces.
Please count me in as a customer for Mother's Day!
Ricky QuinonesBryant and I went to a couple concerts and were out late. When we arrived home, the most beautiful surprise was waiting for me on my pillow. It was a box of Electric Blue goodies, of course!
So delicious! I savored everything in the box. The Puerto Rican Rum Balls have changed my life. I'm glad there was only one, as I would've eaten as many that were in front of me.
I really enjoyed the stories behind each item, too. Everything was awesome, especially knowing the beauty behind it all!
